Old people’s voice
It’s an adage that we neglect more often.
There’s society’s laid-out plan for senior citizens. That’s to retire, be stuck to the lazy boy and wait for their death. There’s a stigma attached to old age in some rural areas.
Older folks are disappearing from sight in society. Employers are pushing them out to make way for the youth. It makes sense to give the younger generation a shot. But they’re inexperienced and need to work alongside the aged.
As long as the elderly are in relatively good health, they can do some work, and we can tap into their trove of experience.
Don’t silence their voice.
