Choosing the Right Path

The customer is not always right

Choosing to do the right thing or follow the correct protocol may take longer than taking shortcuts.

For example, in some parts of the world, it’s possible to pay someone to obtain a driver’s license from the comfort of your own home, without having to enroll in a driving school or take the necessary theory and practical tests. I personally know of someone who obtained their driver’s license before even learning how to drive.

While following the right path can be frustrating, it’s important to remember that the shortcut may not always be the best option. The right way may not be optimized for convenience, but it brings peace of mind and liberates the conscience from guilt, no matter how tough and exhausting it may be.
