The problem with oversharing

Using social media to collaborate
On social media, we’re encouraged to share voraciously and endlessly to get noticed. “You need to put yourself out there to be discovered.” They say.

This bears some truth.

We need to use this modern tool in moderation. Otherwise, we could become addicted or overly sensitive to others’ opinions. Because we always want to stay relevant and not to be pushed far behind by an algorithm, We create more, often recycling people’s ideas. The volume of what we churn out each minute becomes our top priority.

We care so much about ‘quantity’ that we neglect to give ‘quality’ the chance to shine.
