The problem with dependence

Ukraine and Russia were once major global food suppliers, but the ongoing conflict between the two nations has led to a significant impact on countries that heavily depend on their food exports. Ghana, for example, has experienced a sharp rise in the cost of food, partly due to this reason.

However, it’s worth questioning why these countries heavily reliant on food exports from Russia and Ukraine haven’t invested enough in their own food production. Over-reliance on others for support without achieving self-sufficiency can lead to long-term suffering.
