“COOK” is a buzzword on the internet in Ghana. When someone trolls or criticizes another heavily on social media, others in the comments would urge them to keep cooking.

Yesterday, the Guinness World Records disqualified a Ghanaian in her attempt to set a record in a Sing-A-Thon. Many are happy about this news and are “cooking” her. They said she didn’t show appreciation when they supported her.

Sometimes, someone can tweet, “I’m cooking something in the studio. Will show you soon.” It means they’re creating something.

I’m still getting used to this internet jargon.
