Empowering Change in Challenging Times

During the peak of the pandemic, businesses in Ghana faced unprecedented hardships as life became an uphill battle for many. The importance of online commerce emerged as a lifeline, with e-commerce platforms witnessing a surge in transactions and demand.

In the face of these adversities, two visionary friends embarked on a mission to make a difference. They christened their e-commerce venture ‘Aslorm.’ Recognizing the struggles faced by brick-and-mortar stores across the country, Aslorm took a unique approach by not just establishing its own online marketplace but also registering and verifying local businesses on its platform to help them recover and boost their sales.

Furthermore, the economic downturn left many in a state of need, particularly the underserved and marginalized. Aslorm aimed to leverage its platform to bridge the gap, encouraging those who had surplus resources to extend a helping hand to those who were less fortunate. Their vision was to create a virtuous cycle of giving, enabling the more fortunate to donate items they no longer needed to support the less fortunate in their community.
