At the height of the pandemic, business almost halted in Ghana. Life was extremely difficult for many. The relevance of online buying came to the fore. E-commerce sites saw significant improvements in purchases.

Two friends decided to launch their own eCommerce site that could make a difference. They named it Aslorm. Because physical shops across the country saw a dip in people walking through their doors, Aslorm wanted to help by registering and verifying them on their website to increase sales.

Also, the poor, hemmed in by the tight economy, could not meet their needs. And Aslorm wanted to use its website to encourage the haves to donate what they no longer use to the have-nots.
