Never Say “Small, small”

By fiifi DZANSI
Ask someone in Ghana how their business is doing.
You would hear “small, small.” in a sorrowful voice.
It means little by little.
Gradual.
Progressive.
Sometimes, people say this to sound modest and not boastful. Mostly, though, It is a sign of a failing business.
When others tell you, “Oh, don’t worry. Just do it small, small.” what it means is you are stuck at that corner.
You are not going to advance.
Keep on hustling for the rest of your life.
This is not inspiring.
Instead, tell others to keep on keeping on.
And if you have any secrets to help them move from A to B, do so.
Otherwise, say nothing.
